I'm using Isapi Rewrite Filter to rewrite file extension from any to .mytype. I assigned mytype extension with ASP.NET file download handler.

All is fine, but if web dav client (MS Office product) send OPTIONS request
IIS returns 500 Server Error - The parameter is incorrect.

Rewrite Rules:
RewriteRule ^(/portals/^/)/files/(^/)/(^.+).(.*)$ $1/files/$2/$3.mytype L,I
RewriteRule ^(/portals/^/)/webdav/(^/)/(^.+).(.*)$ $1/webdav/$2/$3.mytype L,I

HTTP Request:
OPTIONS /portals/portal46/webdav/NzMyOTkxLzY1LzkzMC8zNzk2Ng==/NotImportInventory.xls HTTP/1.1

Translate: f

User-Agent: Microsoft Data Access Internet Publishing Provider Protocol Discovery

Host: mc1

Content-Length: 0

Connection: Keep-Alive

HTTP Response:
HTTP/1.1 500 Server Error

Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.1

Date: Mon, 12 Nov 2007 11:25:59 GMT

Connection: close

Content-Type: text/html

Content-Length: 87

<html><head><title>Error</title></head><body>The parameter is incorrect. </body></html>

I think IIRF does not support an OPTIONS request.
