File not found on UNC path

I'm trying to setup IIRF for rewrite on a site that home directory exists on another server and uses a unc path. I ran the IIRF site status page and get the below result indicating the ini file isn't found. if I move ini file and site to a local directory however it is found no problem.

Does IIRF rewrite support using UNC paths or will it only work if the file is on the same server?

Thanks.

You know, I've never tested a website with the home directory that is on a UNC share.

So... I suppose it may not work correctly.  Can you use a subst drive?  that may act as a workaround for you.
