Need help or better understanding...

I found IIRF while doing some searching for reverse proxies and wondered if this would do what I need or at least help me in understanding what I need. Our company has an older Win 2000 web server with a Progress application installed on it. I am trying to rewrite the application in ASP.NET and want to test it in the outside world without messing up the current Progress application or web server. What I would like to do is place a hidden spot on our current web site that when clicked would forward all requests to the new ASP.NET server and new web site. Right now this new server sits at an internal IP address. Current web server sits in the DMZ. Is this something that IIRF can do or is there a different direction I should be going?

I don't know.  IIRF does act as a reverse proxy. IF that's what you want, then IIRF can help. It doesn't run on Windows 2000. I don't think ASPNET runs on Windows 2000 either, but maybe you know better.
