I am new to Ionics Isapi Rewrite Filter and I am using IIS 6 and trying to get wordpress pages to redirect if a user types in index.php within the URL. Example: if a user types in or clicks on a link with I would like them to see

I have managed to get the rewriterule to work and have been able to remove the index.php from the urls within wordpress admin with the custom permalinks but the page names with the index.php have been indexed as they are showing up in search engines, so I am trying to add a 301 redirect for those pages.

My current code for the rewriterule and redirectrule is below. Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!

RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/wp-.*
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/index.php/.*
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php/$1 [L]
ReDirectRule ^/index.php/(.*)$ /$1 [R=301]
