Hi all,

This is probably really easy for you but for a newbie like me proving difficult!  I have a site running a Content Management System so I can't change the URL at source but I have this issue.  My company want to setup this url:  www.domain.com/providers to an aspx page, lets say www.domain.com/test/home.aspx

That part I can deal with.  The issue is that there is a providers directory on the site with pages in it such as www.domain.com/providers/test.aspx

Because the first rewrite happens, the second page never gets shown it always just process the first and shows home.aspx

I guess this is quite simple!

Thanks

How about using a rewrite rule that checks to see if the "providers" part of the URL is the end of it?

Something like:

RewriteRule ^/providers$ /test/home.aspx [L]

This should then only stop if the given URL in your post is used.

If you need to pick up on /providers or /providers/ then just use

RewriteRule ^/providers/?$ /test/home.aspx [L]

Hope this helps.
