Hi everybody !
First, please apologize my english, it's not my mother tongue ;)
So, that's my trouble : I have my web site hosted by a commercial server.
Basically, my pages are written in html, and I want to upgrade some pages to asp.
After forums and websites reading (I'm not a specialist :D), it's seems that redirect/rewrite URL is the good solution.
First question : knowing I want to keep my Google ranking, what do you advise me to do : either a redirection or a rewrite ?
I am assuming that rewrite is better, and worked on it.
Second question : trouble with rules updating : I have done tests (with rewriterule), and it seems that even after deleting my test folder and/or the iirf.ini file, I keep my test rule.
In clear, even without any ini file, files in my test folder are converted to asp file... this is very strange !
Do you guys have already have this trouble ? I done a research in the forum but found nothing.
Technical complements :
I'm using IIRF 126.96.36.199
Thanks in advance for any help or clearance ;)
