Proxy and PreserveHost?

Hi,

Is it possible to do this?  User goes to support.domain.com and it would proxy to http://127.0.0.1:8082/ but it would still keep the host name of support.domain.com,  I know I have does this with Apache2 but unfortunately we are stuck with IIS6.

yes, and no.

The ProxyPreserveHost feature was added in v2.1.1.26,  see http://iirf.codeplex.com/workitem/29415

The bad news is that I haven't yet delivered the release for v2.1.1.26.    Real soon now.  Maybe tomorrow.

Had a couple crises at work, couldn't get to the release.

Soon, though.

Cool, i know how that goes. Keeping an eye open, examining the differences between this (if any) and the ISAPI Rewrite feature that offers this sort of thing. Any thoughts/input, I'd say this already has  leg up since its open source and free. Thanks
