CodePlexProject Hosting for Open Source Software
I am just starting out with IIRF and I am not sure if it's possible to acccomplish what I am after. I have all pages physically located inside a subfolder (ie /pages) directly off the root. I woul like to remove the public from the location that
shows in the web browser(ie change http://www.mydomain.com/pages/events/ to http://www.mydomain.com/events). I just want to hide the pages folder from showing in the url. Is this possible with IIRF and can someone please give me a little guidance
on where/how to get started?
Seems like I see a lot of this in this forum.
"Here's my solution:"
Created IIS Virtual Directories (ie /pages/about becomes VD /about)
Created reDirect rules like
RedirectRule ^/pages/about/(.*)$ /about/$1 [R=301]
