Overcoming 405 error in IIS5 (Win2K)

I've read some other posts that mention this but I wanted to ask if anyone can clarify.

Natively IIS 5.0 (Windows 2000) cannot accept a form action of POST to a directory name (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/216493).

I've seen one question that mentions this (specifically using IIRF to POST to a PHP page) http://iirf.codeplex.com/Thread/View.aspx?ThreadId=34289 but it appears his fix was to change PHP from running as FastCGI to ISAPI. Unfortunately, I have to run PHP as FastCGI -- (PHP 5.2.9).

So, here is my question: Does IIRF prevent the POST 405 (Method Not Allowed) error when posting to a directory name? For example, say you want a form to post to the url /forms/contact/ which would be IIRFed into /index.php?pid=2, can I do that with IIRF on IIS5.0?

Thanks &

No, IIRF does not do that.
