redirect works but...

I'm making proofs with a PHP application. In *NIX it requires the rewrite_mod of apache. I see nothing in the .htaccess files as additional arguments. so I think Ionics Rewrite Filter must be work without any trouble.

The required replace string is working, but the links inside any page remain in the original form

I simply defined a replace string in the following way:

RedirectRule ^/final/index.php\?route=(.*) /final/item/$1

/final is simply because it is a subdirectory in my home machine

All works without any hitch, but I see the links in any page in applications in the form: .../index.php?route=xyz/xyz

Any suggestion to solve current issue?

Hmm, so you are redirecting from a URL with a .php extension, to a page with no such extension.

Whatever application is responding to the url for /final/item/FOO is the thing that is generating links in your page. If you see links with .php in them, then look in that app for the reason why.

IIRF does not do page processing.  IIRF will not change the links in the pages you run.  The only thing IIRF does is Rewrite or Redirect URLs.  IIRF does not look at or modify the generated page content, ever.

IF this isn't clear, check the readme, again.
