Hi All,

I have managed to get SEF url's working somewhat but am stuck with the following......

I get the sef url's but all the url's redirect to homepage only.  I have the following setup:

Database Version:     5.0.51b-community-nt
Database Collation:     utf8_general_ci
PHP Version:     5.2.5
Web Server:     Microsoft-IIS/6.0
Web Server to PHP interface:     isapi

Using Ionics Isapi Rewriter
- Have installed the dll file in windows/system32/IIRF folder
- Have placed the IIRF.ini with rewrite rules in the website root

- Enabled
- set to use mod_rewrite in advanced

Joomla Global configuration
- set SEF url's to Yes
- use mod_rewrite to Yes

Below is my IIRF.ini file contents

# This is the config for standard Joomla with sh404SEF

IterationLimit 10

RewriteLogLevel 4 #Make it 0 in to turn debugging off
RewriteLog c:\IIRfLogfile.log #Write the absolute path of your file here
MaxMatchCount 10
# don't rewrite any request that goes to administrator
RewriteRule ^/administrator - [L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_URL} (/|\.htm|\.php|\.html|!administrator|/[^.]*)$
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule (.*) /index.php [U,L]
########## End Standard SEF Section

Can anyone please let me know how can i fix this problem.

This is an IIRF forum.  I don't know anything about joomla , or it's SEF module.

I can help you with IIRF configuration, but to do that you will have to tell me

- what IIRF is doing

- what you expect it do do.

That means, you'll need to tell me what the contents of the IIRF logfile is.

Also you need to verify for me your IIRF version.  You've reported a PHP version and a Database version, and Database collation, whatever that is.  You've reported how you configured SH404SEF.  I don't care about any of that.  I can't help you with PHP or Joomla questions.

I can answer IIRF questions.  But before you ask, you should start by verifying the IIRF installation.

If everything checks out, and you still have questions, I'll need to know the version of IIRF you use, and I'll need you to confirm that it (IIRF) is configured properly.  then if you have a specific question, ask away.

I'm guessing someone on earth knows a little about IIRF and maybe a little more about Joomla, and knows how to make them work together. That person is not me. All I know is IIRF.
