I was trying to use wordpress custom permalinks(which has only post name) but it was not working. i wrote a simple rule-

Rewriterule  ^/blog/abcde$ /home.aspx

this rule doesn't work and mydomain.com/blog/abcde says page not found 400 error

follwoing urls also dont work-

RewriteRule ^/blog/(?!index\.php|wp-|xmlrpc)(.*)$ /blog/index.php/$1 [I,L]

How do you know the rule "does not work"?

If home.aspx does not exist, then the rule may be working, and the 404 error is accurate and correct.

Do you have an IIRF log snippet corresponding to a request and this rule, that shows it "not working"?

home.aspx do exist and this things doesnt even go to the IIRF log,

mydomain.com/blog/abcde- this doesnt even go to IIRF log.

If the request is not logged in the IIRF log, AND YOU HAVE LOGGING TURNED ON in IIRF, then you haven't properly configured IIRF.

Go through the installation procedure again, to verify that IIRF is installed properly.  there's also a verification you can perform, with the /iirfstatus URL.  Check the documentation for more information on that.

all other website pages are getting logged in IIRF logs. its strange.
